Hi! Welcome to Spotlight #1
Below you will find the last 5 books that we read which we felt were worth recommending. Hope you enjoy:)
Author: Gracie Ruth Mitchell
Series: Falling for Summer
**We love this series!! We also love a marriage of convenience. Lucky for us, Gracie Ruth Mitchell has written this wonderful and fun romance.
She’s broke, he’s infuriatingly rich, and what was supposed to be a three‑month marriage of convenience so Phoenix can inherit his family company starts to feel dangerously real when every fake kiss chips away at her defenses—especially after his grandmother’s miraculous recovery leaves them stuck in their pretend marriage indefinitely.

Series: How to Kiss a Hawthorne Brother #4
**This is the last and one of the best books from the Hawthorne Brothers Series. What's fun about Jenny Proctor's books is that the characters pop up in other series. Read this series before the Midnight Rush and Appies series for an accurate timeline.
She’s a small-town wildlife biologist who accidentally trespasses onto Hollywood’s biggest star Flint Hawthorne’s estate—and suddenly finds herself trading handcuffs for a red carpet, pretending to be his girlfriend in a high-profile charade where the fake chemistry feels all too real, even if her quiet life couldn’t be more different from his fast-paced fame.

Modern Day
Author: Jenny Proctor
Series: Midnight Rush #1
**This book immediately made it to the Hall of Fame page the second we opened it. It is literally a dream scenario for us directioners. It's like reading a Tumblr imagine but more realistic because it is an adult writing it instead of a tweenager LOL!
Eight years after abandoning his boyband fame and the stage name Deke, Adam Driscoll cherishes his quiet life working with dog rescues and his growing bond with vet Laney Lawson—who doesn’t know his past—until a reunion concert forces him to confront old wounds and risk everything, including his secret and the woman he loves.

Modern Day
Author: Susan May Warren
Series: Air One Rescue #1
**We cannot recommend the audiobook version as the female narrator takes the oddest pauses while speaking, but we can recommend the book. Susan May Warren writes a killer adventure romance.
Country music star Oaken Fox joins survivalist Mike Grizz's Alaskan adventure show to boost his career, but after a tragedy and a forced reality show stint with Air One Rescue, he’s paired with rookie EMT Boo Kingston, who’s determined to ignore his charm as they race against time and a deadly blizzard to rescue five missing women before it's too late.

Modern Day
Author: Martha Keyes
Series: Falling for Summer
**We have yet to read a bad book from the Falling for Summer series! Summer Tease is somewhat an enemies to lovers, but Beau is too much of a sweetie to ever be an enemy. We love him and we loved this book!
Wild horses couldn’t drag her back to Sunset Harbor, but when her grandmother’s spot in the local retirement center is threatened, she strikes a reluctant deal with charming cop Beau Palmer—her former nemesis and current source of major frustration—to keep Grams in place, only to find that burying the long-standing Sawyer/Palmer feud might be harder than resisting the smirking, badge-wearing problem standing in her way.
